Schneescharte

Description:
Schneescharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2796 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Pfitscher-Joch-Haus, located 2km southeast. A little further is Museum. 1.5 km north-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Stampflkees, 5 km north-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Unterschrammachkees. The saddle is located above the valley Zamser Grund.
