Talggenköpfe is 3179 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 10 km north-northwest from the center of Oberlappach and 11 km south-southwest from the center of Ginzling and 1.0 km southeast of peak Großer Greiner. The nearest mountain hut is Furtschaglhaus, located 2km southwest. A little further is bivouac Hochferner-Biwak. 3 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Furtschaglkees, 3 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Waxeggkees.
