Furtschaglspitze

Description:
Furtschaglspitze is 3190 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.5 km north-northwest of peak Großer Möseler - Grande Mèsule. The nearest mountain hut is Furtschaglhaus, located 2km west. A little further is bivouac Hochferner-Biwak. 1.4 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Waxeggkees, 1.5 km south from the summit there is also glacier Furtschaglkees. The peak is located northeast of the valley Schlegeisgrund.
