Description:
Roßkopf is 2548 meter high peak and is part of the Villgraten Mountains. The peak is located 6 km north-northwest from the center of St. Magdalena - Santa Maddalena in Casies and 7 km east from the center of Antholz Obertal - Anterselva di Sopra. The nearest mountain hut is Patscher Hütte, located 5km north. A little further is bivouac Schießstand Jagdverein St. Jakob. 6 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Lenksteinferner - Vedretta di Sasso Lungo, 7 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Hochgall Ferner - Vedretta di Collalto.
