Description:
Südlicher Magnerkopf is 2892 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 7 km north-northwest from the center of Predoi and 14 km south-southeast of Gmünd and 3 km north-northwest of peak Rauchkofel - Monte Fumo. The nearest mountain hut is Plauener Hütte, located 3km northeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 5 km east of the peak there is lake Eissee. 3 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Rauhkofelkees, 4 km east from the summit there is also glacier Hohenaukees.
