Forcella di Giais

Description:
Forcella di Giais is a saddle at an altitude of 1442 meters located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The saddle to which the marked trail leads is located 0.6 km southwest of peak Pala Fontana. The nearest mountain hut is Roncjade, located 3km west-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Casera Palussa, which is located 2km to the east. West of the saddle is the valley Val de Piera.
