Description:
Äußerer Speikkofel is 2725 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 0.9 km south-southeast of peak Innspeikkofel. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzensteinhütte - Rifugio al Sasso Nero, located 3km west. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 1.3 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Tribbachkees - Vedretta Rio Torbo, 1.9 km north from the summit there is also glacier Frankbachkees - Vedretta di Rio Franco. The peak is located southeast of the valley Floitengrund.
