Hohe Wand

Description:
Hohe Wand is 2649 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 4 km northwest from the center of Steinhaus - Cadipietra and 5 km north from the center of St. Johann im Ahrntal - San Giovanni Valle Aurina. The nearest mountain hut is Kasseler Hütte, located 4km north. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 1.5 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Frankbachkees - Vedretta di Rio Franco, 1.8 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Westliches Stillupkees. The peak is located south-southeast of the valley Stillupgrund.
