Baba (Kres)

Description:
Baba (Kres) is 889 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located 0.6 km north-northwest from the center of Kočna and 0.9 km south-southwest from the center of Slovenski Javornik and 5 km south of peak Španov vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Dom Pristava v Javorniškem Rovtu, located 4km north-northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Bivak Stebrasta skala, which is located 1.5km to the west-northwest. The peak is located east of the valley Stresena dolina. The peak is located below Mežakla.
