Obranca

Description:
Obranca is 1035 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located in country Slovenia 1.1 km west-southwest from the center of Kočna and 2 km west-southwest from the center of Lipce and 4 km east-northeast of peak Police. The nearest mountain hut is Dom Pristava v Javorniškem Rovtu, located 5km north-northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Bivak Stebrasta skala, which is located 1.5km to the north-northwest. The monument Spomenik padlim borcem na planini Obranca is also located near the top. West of the summit is the valley Stresena dolina. The peak is located Mežakla.
