And maybe someone knows more about the Premužić trail. Where is the starting point, when is the best time to visit, huts (overnights), promotional material, because there's not much on the net... I'm especially interested in your experiences. Thanks

If you happen to be on summer holiday on Pag island, you must absolutely visit St. Vid, the highest peak of Pag island. Easy tour, but nice walk that rewards, in good weather, with beautiful views over the entire Pag island, Velebit Channel, islands ...

The first picture is the starting point Kolan

grdksmrt;
Tominškova route to Triglav is one of the harder approaches to the Father. Route not recommended for dizzy, beginners, kids and poorly equipped tourists. 20.7. ice axe was mandatory for this route, because in one gully below Begunjski vrh there was still snow patch making crossing (descent) trouble. And that snow will last a while, so careful and firm step!

The nice weather forecast lured me and my buddy to these parts of our peaks. We started at 7.00 from Konc over Žmaučarjev to Rinke. Until 12 o'clock the weather was OK then fog blew from valleys and hid views of the surroundings so we rolled over the ridge and Coiza (mandatory beer) to the valley. We took 12 hours.

Today I walked to Mirna gora. Weather forecast didn't promise much "fun" but turned out meteorologists are dozing a bit! Started in Komarni vas via Gač, Pogorelca, Škrilj, past hut to top of Mirna gora. Hut open daily (except Mon and Tue). Up and down in 5 hours with snack in Dom!

Heinz, I agree with you!

Thanks, thanks to everyone especially "dolinka", now I must first study all the information, check the maps, and then I'll be ready to ask something.
Only this I would still ask. This weekend I was at Vratnik and stopped at the crumbling hotel and on the embankment saw the sign "Oltari 4h". A bit back there was an info board for the bike trail in the regional park S. Velebit, I think it's circular.
Is this marked path somehow part of and connected to the Premužić trail.
thanks

oh, Van Sims
You really know nothing about dogs!
by the way, mine is always leashed so as not to disturb wildlife and grazing animals, I admit I unleash him when no one's around, otherwise he doesn't stray far from me at all.

And on the pictures there are some ideas where to go with the dog.

The problem is somewhere else! (some people) People simply don't like dogs!
My dog is trained and socialized and has B-BH exam, but I always have problems with individuals, because he's just big, black, ... real beauty, but tame and obedient! I wouldn't dare go to the mountains with a feral dog.

My opinion is that prices in Slovenian mountains are too high compared to what's offered.
It hurts me even more because you can't say it out loud.

Can I?
Where is this? What's this wonderful place called?

I also have to sign here on the forum so you know I was on Prisank. Otherwise nothing much to add to your debates. But it's one of the nicer tours.

On Saturday the 20th, I was on the Dleškovska Plateau and among other things also visited V. Vrh 2110m. Wonderful weather and clear views accompanied Bobi and me all day. On Korošica they were enthusiastically playing football while some enjoyed the beautiful view. Then a jump to Lučkega dedec, visit to Vodotočnik and back via the hunter's path to Podvežak. Uf, more such beautiful days!

Foggy, wet and humid, muggy weather accompanied us on the way to Kum. There were no views, as if we did nothing more than a regular fitness training and refreshed the stocks of ticks, especially our companion Bobi.

Yesterday I decided with Bobi to visit the hut at Kofce and the wonderful weather and huge number of hikers convinced me to extend to V. peak. It was really a great day, sea of fog in the valley, strong thaw in high mountains. cool
For starting point I chose Jelendol. Otherwise I'd drive higher but couldn't (icy road). With 4x4 no problem!
