exactly like that, we from Carinthia also go at 02.00 from home nicely over Ljubelj to Vrata, onwards as you described.
If something happens on the way and I arrive late down to the car, I nicely unroll the tarp, put the self-inflating mat, slip into sleeping bag and snore nicely and that's it.
And I don't get mad at hut keepers, down or up.
But true, if one pisses me off... in plain words, I tell him off nicely and go my way.
One guy at the hut won't spoil my mountain pleasure, right.

I'm completely of your opinion and on your side. A couple of thieves in SLO need to be put somewhere and it'll be even better, like Austria and yodelers, not us with those, nothing beats a genuine Slovene.

I'm interested in the conditions for hiking to the Dom na Kališču. Is there still any snow, or how much? Next week I plan to circle Kališče, Kriška gora, Dobrča and I'm interested in the conditions, if anyone has been up there these days. If the weather stays like this, it'll probably be snow-free already or not.

No, I took H7, got it for 40€, I think it's a good deal for that quality, since I looked at others from 20-40€ and this one prevailed.

I know all that, but if an H7 can be got for a good price, why not? I looked at those for regular flashlights and the prices are pretty similar to this H7 that I can get cheaply, so I thought. I know that everything is in experiences, so I'm asking more because of troubles than because of the firm itself.

I plan to buy Led Lenser H7 headlamp, interested if it's worth adding a bit of € to buy newer H7.2 or H7R2 or whatever.

Read some tests for H7, mountain rescuers had some remarks about front part wear, and can't lock it on so it turns on itself in backpack too often etc...

Despite all I think it's sufficient for average mortal, for night hikes of course.

What do you think.

Why not go to Proalp at Slapar? There they measure your foot and make them exactly to your foot and leg outline, and they are good and high-quality too.
I'm going there in 2 months for both, low and high cut. If they make, as promised, a real winter one with semi-auto crampon option, then even better.
In short, what does it cost you? Go there, try them on and you'll see, and they also have colors for women to your taste.
