No need for winter gear for the ascent to Grintovec anymore. You cross snow only once, elsewhere it can be bypassed. But an earlier start is recommended, because I feel sorry for those poor guys going up in the strongest sun.

Snow is firm, track is made (you can almost go in sneakers )! Last 100m sinks a bit but no panic. Was crazy windy today, even my dog was howling :P

1. Theoretical lectures (Auditorium classroom)
- personal and technical equipment for movement in mountains in winter conditions
- avalanches
- other dangers in mountains in winter
- first aid for winter injuries and care for avalanche victims.


2. Practical exercises
- use of trekking poles, ice axe and crampons
- testing snowpack stability
- searching for buried victims with avalanche probe and beacon
- providing first aid for frost injuries

Terrain work will take place at multiple stations, so participants should bring their own suitable personal and technical equipment.The course is free. Limited number of participants. Registrations to:

Hats off for the tour. I would go that fast too. but I took all winter gear - shovel etc., which I used on descent when I put it under my ass

I see you've all gotten heated . About winter conditions one could discuss (be smart until it happens to you). I agree to check ARSO but it's necessary to verify on terrain what actually happens. Because it doesn't mean it's safe if they write 1st degree
Moving in mountains in winter is extra pleasure that requires some risk :P
