Roland Summer is an artist (clay designer) from Vrba in Austrian Carinthia and a great mountain lover. Last spring we accidentally met on the ridge of Brezniške peči. Just over a month ago he founded the fb group Alpe Adria Hiking, into which he wants to attract as many active members as possible from Austria, Italy and Slovenia. (Members can of course be from anywhere, but hikes should relate to the alpine area of these three countries.) The group is closed, currently has around 150 members, but not all are active (they don't post trip descriptions and photos). Fewest members are from Slovenia. The language of communication is English, of course posting in Slovenian, German or Italian is not forbidden. So, if anyone has the will and time to post also outside this forum, warmly welcome to join the fb group Alpe Adria Hiking and, most importantly, to participate actively in it.
