Vršič is 1643 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located in country Slovenia 0.6 km east-southeast of peak Visoki Kurji vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Koča pri Peričniku, located 6km south. Closer is Koča za Lepim vrhom, which is located 1.9km to the northwest. South of the summit is the valley Vrata.
