The peak is located 1.1 km southeast of peak Maloško poldne / Mallestiger Mittagskogel near the border with Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Bertahütte, located 5km east. Closer is Mitzl-Moitzl Hütte, which is located 0.8km to the north-northwest. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Vrata.
