Ostra peč, known in German as Mallestiger Mittagskogel, is an 1801 m high mountain located on the northern side of the main Karawanks ridge. From the summit, where there is a cross and a summit register, a beautiful view opens over the Drava Valley, the Julian Alps, and a large part of the western Karawanks.
