Description:
Südlicher Vorgipfel (Aggenstein) is 1889 meter high peak and is part of the Allgäu Alps. The peak is located 4 km north from the center of Grän and 5 km north from the center of Haldensee near the border with Germany. The nearest mountain hut is Bad Kissinger Hütte, located 0.5km east-southeast. A little further is Gimpelalm (Stützpunkt Bergrettung). The peak is located north of the valley Tannheim valley. The peak is located above the ridge Aggenstein - Nordostwand.
