Description:
Stari grad is 412 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 1.4 km north from the center of Kobarid and 3 km west from the center of Drežnica. The nearest mountain hut is Gomiščkovo Zavetišče na Krnu, located 6km east. A bit closer is hunting cottage Lovska koča Drežnica, which is located 4km to the north-northwest. Northeast of the summit is the valley Dolina Lepene.
