Riherski Kogel is 1084 meter high peak located in the Kamnik Savinja Alps mountain range. The peak is located 0.8 km west-northwest of peak Veliki Rogatec. The nearest mountain hut is Domžalski dom na Mali Planini, located 7km west-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Bivak na Kalu, which is located 0.9km to the southeast. Northwest of the summit is the valley Robanov kot.
