Description:
Planica is 1114 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 2 km south-southwest of peak Rez. The nearest mountain hut is Koča pri Peričniku, located 5km southeast. A bit closer is hunting cottage Lovska koča nad Skočniki, which is located 1.2km to the south-southeast. South of the summit is the valley Vrata.
