Description:
Pilastro di Caotes is 2115 meter high peak located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak is located 5 km east-southeast from the center of San Martino d'Alpago and 5 km east from the center of Chies d'Alpago. The nearest mountain hut is Casera Crosetta, located 4km northwest. Closer is bivouac Bivacco Alessio Toffolon, which is located 0.8km to the north-northwest. South of the summit is the valley Val de Piera.
