Osredek is 637 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.1 km southwest from the center of Tolminski Lom and 2 km west from the center of Kanalski Lom. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom pod Ježo, located 7km northwest. A little further is Lovski dom Čepovan. The peak is located southwest of the valley Baška grapa.
