Description:
Mitterspitz is 2870 meter high peak in the Verwall Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 6 km north from the center of Galtür and 7 km northwest from the center of Mathon. The nearest mountain hut is Neue Heilbronner Hütte, located 3km west-southwest. Fasulhütte is a bit further away. 5 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Großer Kuchenferner.
