Mali Koželj is 501 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 1.7 km south from the center of Bevče and 2 km southwest from the center of Lipje. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Paškem Kozjaku, located 6km northeast. hunting cottage Lovska koča na Bezovcu is a bit further away. 7 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Družimirsko jezero.
