Kleiner Tartscher Kopf - Cima Piccola di Tarres is 2918 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Garibaldi - Dreisprachenspitze, located 3km southwest. A little further is bivouac Tschierfeck Biwak am Ortler. 4 km south from the summit there is glacier Ebenferner - Vedreta Piana, 6 km south from the summit there is also Vitelli Glacier. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Trafoital.
