Karspitz - Punta Quaira is 2933 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Garibaldi - Dreisprachenspitze, located 2km southwest. A little further is bivouac Locatelli Ninotta. 4 km south from the summit there is glacier Ebenferner - Vedreta Piana, 5 km south from the summit there is also Vitelli Glacier. The peak is located west of the valley Trafoital.
