Großer Reinhard is 2790 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Affentalalm, located 1.2km southeast. Bacheralm is also relatively close. 7 km south-southeast of the peak there is lake Sankt-Josef-See. 5 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Fleischbachkees, 7 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Rötkees - Vedretta Rossa.
