Description:
Gelenknock is 2882 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 5 km northwest from the center of Weißenbach - Riobianco and 7 km north-northeast from the center of Oberlappach. The nearest mountain hut is Chemnitzer Hütte - Rifugio Porro, located 4km southwest. Alpenverein Ahrntal is a bit further away. 2 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Trattenbachkees - Vedretta di Dentro, 2 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Hornkees. The peak is located south-southeast of the valley Zemmgrund.
