Gauderkopf is 2991 meter high peak and is part of the Verwall Alps. The peak is located 4 km south from the center of Schnann and 4 km southwest from the center of Flirsch. The nearest mountain hut is Edmund-Graf-Hütte, located 2km southwest. A little further is Blanka Jagdhütte. South-southeast from the summit there is glacier Flirscher Ferner, 0.7 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Pettneuer Ferner. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Malfontal.
