Col di Frare is 946 meter high peak located in the Dolomites mountain range. The peak is located 2 km southwest of peak Pala Alta. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio 7° Alpini, located 6km northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Ricovero "Gech" De Biasi, which is located 3km to the east-southeast. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Val Scura.
