Col della Galvana

Description:
Col della Galvana is 1664 meter high peak located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located 3 km east-southeast of peak Monte Zita and east-jugoeast above the mountain pasture Casera Pian di Mandriz. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Casera Mela, located 1.9km southwest. A little closer is bivouac Ricovero Casera Galvana, which is located 0.5km to the south-southwest. 4 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Lago del Vajont. The peak is located west of the valley Val Cimoliana.
