Blauwand is 2584 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 0.3 km south-southeast of peak Dengelstein - Monte Dengolo and east above the mountain pasture Gruipa Alm. The nearest mountain hut is Edelrauthütte, located 4km north. Closer is Malga maso di mezzo, which is located 0.8km to the south. 6 km north from the summit there is glacier Gliederferner - Ghiacciaio del Gran Pilastro. The peak is located south of the valley Schlegeisgrund.
