Description:
Balkan is 684 meter high peak. The peak is located 0.3 km southeast from the center of Barka and 1.9 km south from the center of Gornje Vreme. The nearest mountain hut is Okrepčevalnica, located 7km north. A little further is bivouac Koča pri Lipi. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Val Rosandra / Glinščica. The peak is located below Brkini.
