The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Val d'Ambiez - Silvio Agostini, located 1.2km south-southwest. bivouac Bivacco Castiglioni is also relatively close. 7 km east-southeast of the saddle there is lake Lago di Molveno. 0.8 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Vedretta dei Camosci. The saddle is located above the valley Val d'Ambiez.
