The saddle is located in country Italy 7 km east from the center of Massimeno and 8 km southeast from the center of Sant'Antonio di Mavignola. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Val d'Ambiez - Silvio Agostini, located 1.2km south-southeast. A little closer is bivouac Bivacco Castiglioni, which is located 1.1km to the north-northeast. 8 km east-southeast of the saddle there is lake Lago di Molveno. East-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Vedretta dei Camosci. The saddle is located above the valley Val d'Ambiez.
