Kniepass is a saddle at an altitude of 878 meters in the Ammergau Alps. The saddle is located 1.4 km east-northeast of peak Siebeler. The nearest mountain hut is Naturfreundehaus Säulinghaus, located 3km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Haus des Klimawandels. 3 km north-northeast of the saddle there is lake Alpsee. The saddle is located above the valley Raintal.
