Description:
Kitzbergweg is a saddle at an altitude of 1101 meters and is part of the Ammergau Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Germany. The nearest mountain hut is Naturfreundehaus Säulinghaus, located 3km east-southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Haus des Klimawandels, which is located 1.8km to the northwest. 1.3 km east-northeast of the saddle there is lake Alpsee. Southwest of the saddle is the valley Raintal.
