Description:
Bretterscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2517 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Rein in Taufers - Riva di Tures and 6 km south-southwest from the center of Predoi. The nearest mountain hut is Affentalalm, located 4km east. A little further is Bacheralm. 6 km southeast from the saddle there is glacier Fleischbachkees. The saddle is located above the valley Knuttental.
