That bench that I was advertising. The beauty Tosc in all its southern grandeur. Southern gully is on the right - also solely for alpinists! NOTE, photos are archival and do not show current conditions! And, to make it all clear. Here on the left, from the marked transverse path, the normal approach branches off (it is even marked). We go up to the ridge, then right to the summit. Much easier, right?! So we wont speak off the cuff. Into this eastern gully of Tosc, we would enter deceived ... (photo borrowed from GORNIK, tour no. 63)
