Žleb (Suho ruševje)

Description of saddle:
Žleb above Suho ruševje is located between Palec and Zelenjak on the border ridge with Austria. It is popular with touring skiers as it offers a pleasant, not too steep, ski touring descent. From Žleb there is a nice view of the nearby walls of Vrtača, Zelenjak and Palec. To the south, Begunjščica with its northern slopes can be seen clearly. From Žleb you can continue to Palec via a demanding unmarked path or to Zelenjak via an equally demanding path. Alternatively, you can head along the very difficult trackless route through the Ipsilon gully to Vrtača.
