Pečke

Description of peak:
Pečke is an easily accessible and recently less and less visited peak located north of the main ridge of Pohorje. It receives more visitors only on 1 May, when a traditional hike takes place up there. The view is limited due to the trees, but you can see a good part of Maribor and Kozjak, on the other side, in good weather also Koralpe / Golica in Austria. At the top there is a hunting lodge with tables, benches and children's games. There is a signpost next to the hill, and a beautiful marked trail to Glazuta, Arech and further afield in the immediate vicinity. You can also head to the lookout tower above Bolfenko or to the wine-growing Meranovo.
