Matzen

Description of peak:
Matzen is a 1,627-metre-high peak located north of Košuta and south of the River Drava. Macna offers a beautiful view of the nearby Obir, Košuta, the Karawanks border ridge, part of the Julian, Carnic and Gailtaler Alps, the High and Lower Tauern, and the Krkonoše and Labotnik Alps. The signing-in box is located on the southern peak, and a cross stands on the northern peak. The three peaks are about 10 to 15 minutes apart.
