Krvavica

Description of mountain:
Krvavica is a 909-metre-high peak located east of Čemšeniška planina. From the summit, which drops steeply on all sides, there is a beautiful view of the Posavje hills and part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The peak has a summit register box with logbook and stamp.
Legend of Krvavica:
"Above Št. Jurij ob Tabor there is Ojstrica and behind it Krvavica. There they threw Veronika Deseniška over the rocks. She defended herself, but it did not help. Therefore, even to this day she walks on moonlit nights to sit on the rocks. Due to her tragic fate, that mountain is called Krvavica."
