Description of hut:
The Koča pri Jelenovem studencu cottage is located southwest of Kočevje on the slopes of the forested Stojna. It is named after the nearby Jelenov studenec spring, which does not dry up even on hot summer days.
The Koča pri Jelenovem studencu is a popular excursion spot, but it can also serve as a starting point for nearby hikes to Mestni vrh (1034m), Fridrihštajn Castle, Livoldski vrh, or a short walk to the nearby Ledena jama cave on Stojna.
