Description of mountain:
Kleiner Koppenkarstein is a 2,832-meter peak in the Dachstein mountain group. This indistinct summit is located on the Koppenkarstein ridge above the Schladming Glacier. Most mountaineers do not choose it as a standalone destination but continue along the protected path to Großer Koppenkarstein. From the summit, marked by a large cairn, there are superb views of the nearby Großer Koppenkarstein and other peaks above the glacier.
