Description of mountain:
Irrotkő is the highest peak of the Kőszeg Mountains (Kőszegi Hegység) and also the highest peak of western Hungary and the Austrian federal state of Burgenland/Gradiščanska. On the summit, located on the border between Hungary and Austria, there is a castle-shaped observation tower from which, despite the relatively low elevation, an exceptional view opens up.
