Dobra gora

Description of mountain:
Dobra gora is a hill slightly south of Lake Bled, rising about 150 meters above the village of Selo (near Bled). At the summit, there are two benches with a logbook and a magnificent view, as the peak protrudes from a steep cliff. Below: the village with pastures down to the Sava Bohinjka, beyond it the slopes of Jelovica with Babji zob and the village of Kupljenik, further right Bohinjska Bela below the walls of Galetovec. To the left, the village of Ribno with Ribenska gora, and the Radovljica basin in the background.
According to some sources, Dobra gora also has mythological significance: in the Middle Ages, locals are said to have brought their horses to the summit for blessing, and even earlier, they reportedly went there to worship the pagan god Perun.
