Bjelolasica

Description of mountain:
Bjelolasica is a smaller mountain range situated on the eastern part of Velika Kapela. Its highest peak is Kula at 1534 m, which is also the highest peak of Velika Kapela, the mountain range located between Lika, Mala Kapela, and Gorski Kotar. From the summit, which has a logbook box, there is a nice view of Klek, Risnjak National Park, and the hills of Velika Kapela. In fine weather, the view extends all the way to Slovenia, where with excellent visibility the Kamnik and Savinja Alps can be observed; to the southeast across Velebit to the Dinaric Mountains.
