Zvodno - Grmada above Celje (via Suhi potok)

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Maribor highway, take the Celje - center exit and continue driving in the direction of Laško and Zidani Most. The road leads through the center of Celje, then brings us to a roundabout with a fountain. Here we continue "straight" (direction Laško and Zidani Most) and follow the road to the next traffic-light intersection, where we turn left, drive over the river Savinja and then at the intersection behind the bridge continue right. Further on, we reach the underpass under the railway track and only a few meters ahead to the fire station in Zagrad. We continue straight and follow the road through the village, which higher up brings us to a smaller intersection, where we notice signs for Suhi potok to the right, Hudičev graben straight ahead. At the intersection, we park near the bus stop.

Route description:
In Zvodno, at the crossroad by the bus stop according to the signposts, we continue right in the direction of Pečovniška koča and Grmada (and simultaneously in the direction of Suhi potok - once there was a visible inscription on a concrete retaining wall), straight on asphalt the path goes to Hudičev graben, by which we can also reach Grmada. We follow the macadam surface or forest road for a few hundred meters. At the marked junction we continue left and slightly uphill along the forest path or the bed of Suhi potok. Further on, once again slightly to the left (right leads to an abandoned quarry) and we follow the hiking forest path uphill, where we bypass the quarry on the left side. The path is well built and marked. It pleasantly winds along the bed of Suhi potok higher into the area between Bavč on the left side and Grmada on the right side. Soon we reach a junction, continue right in the direction of Pečovniška koča and Grmada, while the path to the left is for Tolsti vrh, Srebotnik, Bavč etc. The path is thereafter somewhat narrower and crosses the steep slope of the forest uphill. We reach a meadow area and Pečovniška koča is already in sight. Still somewhat to the left and somewhere right uphill to Pečovniška koča. From the hut we continue on a wide path, which first gently ascends towards the summit of Grmada. After a good five minutes of walking, the path narrows and climbs to the forepeak, from which it slightly descends. There follows a few minutes' walk along the vegetated eastern ridge of Grmada, from which we occasionally get some views into the valley. The pleasant path then steeply ascends and after a few minutes of further walking brings us to the summit, where there is a logbook, stamp, a large cross recognizable from afar, wish bell and fantastic view over Celje and surrounding hills.
